Columbus is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Columbus follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

(2026/07/23) A nice park, close to north campus. There is a bike trail nearby. Arguably the best park near north campus, hardly ever busy! Worth a visit if you are on campus.

Great rec center here with activities and a great community board with services, kind people there also. Pool for locals and fields galore, a skate park and trails along the river and for downtown scenic passage and access. Lots of bikes, mulberry trees and birds galore. A nice quick access to some nature in the middle of the city.

Tuttle Park could be the best park near north campus. There are many playgrounds for different sports like skating, basketball, and football. The long trail is peaceful and quiet along the river. It is easy to see lovely deer. Some areas, however, are extremely dirty with lots of trashes. Hope that government could clean it up.

This is a nice park. It has a large, open field surrounded by trees just off of Lane Ave, which is a nice green space. Thereβs also a decently sized skate park here, as well as a community center with a large playground and skate rink. The Olentangy River Trail runs through here, and thereβs a small dirt trail that goes alongside the river for a couple hundred feet. Thereβs also a public kayak launching spot here, and thereβs a portion of the river that has a rocky bank in the middle you can walk on if the river level is low enough. While this is a nice park, the homeless population has recently increased, with some tents appearing by the Olentangy River, hidden from sight by some trees. Someone tried to mug one of my friends when he walked through this park, but there were too many witnesses around when this occurred so the mugger wasnβt successful. I gave this park five stars because it has great amenities and great scenery. While my friend did almost get mugged on the Olentangy River Trail, the park seems to be a mostly safe place for now. However, I wouldnβt come here when itβs dark out.
